Recent Pieces I’ve Been Loving, Effortless Outfits & a Touch of Rouge
This is a little round-up of a few pieces and details I’ve been loving lately!
They’re the kinds of things that have been naturally finding their way into my outfits over and over again, pieces that feel easy to wear, work across different plans, and bring everything together in a very effortless way.
A dress I’ve worn to brunch, date nights, and evenings out with the girls. A structured leather bag that pairs beautifully with everything from denim to dresses. Tops with a bit more detail that feel especially right for warmer days, and small touches of color, like a red lip, that add just enough interest to a look.
It’s always these kinds of pieces that end up shaping my wardrobe the most, versatile, wearable, and easy to style across different moments, while still feeling polished and true to that French-inspired style I’m always drawn to!
A New Dress from Rouje
I recently received the Erin dress from Rouje’s current collection, and it’s already been one of those pieces I reach for across different moments.
Rouje has always been one of those brands I’m drawn to for feminine, easy pieces that feel both timeless and wearable.
I’ve worn it to date night, brunch, and a girls night out, which is always a good sign. It’s the kind of dress that adapts easily depending on how you style it, more relaxed during the day with simple accessories, and a bit more elevated in the evening with a different shoe or bag.
I’m always drawn to pieces that feel versatile in that way, something that works across different settings while still feeling put together. The silhouette is feminine but still easy to wear, and the print adds just enough detail without overwhelming the look, which makes it very natural to build outfits around it.
It’s also one of those dresses that fits seamlessly into a more classic, French-inspired wardrobe, pieces that don’t rely on trends, but instead feel relevant season after season. Those are usually the items that end up staying in rotation the longest.
Rouje also just released their new collection, and if you’re looking for a similar feel, there are quite a few beautiful pieces this season. You’ll find a mix of soft prints, easy silhouettes, and pieces that transition well from day to evening, which is always something I look for when adding to my wardrobe.
If you’re looking for more European clothing brands with a similar feel, I also put together an edit where I go into Rouje in more detail, along with other French and European brands I’ve been loving.
I’ve linked a few of my Rouje favorites here and below!
A Bag I’ve Been Using Across Everything
I’ve also been reaching for my Adèle bag from Fauvette Paris quite a bit lately!
It’s one of those pieces that works across different moments without needing to switch things out. I’ve worn it for date nights, going out with the girls, and even for everyday errands, which is usually what makes something stay in rotation for me.
The structure adds a bit of polish to even the simplest outfits, but it still feels easy to carry throughout the day. I also love how seamlessly it transitions between shoulder and crossbody, it’s a small detail, but it makes a difference when you’re moving between different plans.
If you’d like a closer look at the bag, the brand, and how I’ve been styling it, I shared a full article here.

Tops I’ve Been Reaching For
I’ve also been wearing a top from Chloé de Barros lately, which has been very easy to incorporate into my outfits.
It adds a softer, more detailed element while still pairing well with more structured pieces like denim or tailored layers, which is usually what I look for in everyday dressing. It’s one of those pieces that feels considered, but still very wearable.
Chloé is also releasing her next drop soon, and from what I’ve seen so far, it looks beautiful. If you’d like to learn more about Chloé de Barros you can explore this interview I did with her here.
I’ve also been drawn to tops that feel a bit more interesting for warmer days, pieces that can stand on their own without needing much else. The red open back one in this photo is actually from Reformation from a couple of years ago, but it’s still a style I come back to often for going out, brunch, or date nights.
If you’re looking for similar pieces this season, I recently put together an edit rounding up some of my favorite brands with beautiful tops to shop, I’ve also included some options I’m loving here and below!
A Piece with a Personal Story
My friend Gabby embroidered this t-shirt for me this weekend, I asked her to personalize it and we had so much fun bringing it to life together!
It’s been amazing seeing her get into embroidery and create pieces like this, she has such a creative eye and it really comes through in everything she makes!
She also creates the cutest cocktail napkins and other embroidered pieces that make such lovely hostess gifts or thoughtful little gifts, everything feels so considered and personal!
If you’d like to take a look at what she creates, you can find her Etsy here and her Instagram!
A Touch of Rouge
You’ll probably notice that this edit has a few pops of red throughout.
One of my favorite ways to add a little je ne sais quoi to an outfit is with a red lip. It’s such a simple detail, but it instantly shifts the feel of a look, even with something very minimal.
Over time, I’ve found a few go-to products that I come back to depending on the moment, softer and more natural during the day, or a bit more defined for evenings and going out.
If you’d like a closer look, I go into more detail on each of these in a separate article, but I’ve listed a few of my current favorites below:
Chanel, Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue (Daring Red): long-wear, transfer-proof
Les Filles en Rouje, Le Baume (Red): an easy, everyday tinted balm
VIOLETTE_FR, Bisou Balm (Amour Fou): a soft, blurred matte finish
Dior, Rouge Dior Lipstick (999 & 743): classic, polished reds
Typology, Lip Oil (Ruby Red): sheer, glossy hydration
Thrive Causemetics, Lip Liner (Maurjon): for a bit more structure
Final Thoughts
These are the pieces and details I’ve been reaching for most recently, the ones that feel good to wear and naturally fit into my day-to-day outfits.
From everyday errands to dinners, weekends, and time spent out with friends, they come together in a way that feels consistent and effortless, creating looks that feel polished without needing much else.
Over time, it’s these kinds of additions that build a wardrobe that feels cohesive and easy to rely on, where everything works together and each piece plays its part.
