French Brands I Wear on Repeat
A closer look at my everyday favorites
Let’s step into my closet and take a little tour of the French brands I wear on repeat! These are my everyday go-tos and longtime favorites, pieces I reach for again and again because they’re timeless, easy to wear, and truly live in my wardrobe. This list is always growing as I discover new favorites, and I’ll be sharing more soon, but for now, these are the brands that have earned a permanent place in my closet. I’m sharing a bit about each one below, along with my personal notes and sizing tips!
About the brand
Founded in 2013 by Morgane Sézalory, Sézane was one of the first French fashion brands born entirely online. What began as a small vintage project in Paris has grown into a global brand known for modern French style, conscious production, and timeless design. Designed in Paris and produced in ethical workshops across Europe, Sézane creates pieces meant to be worn, re-worn, and treasured.
My notes
I’ve been purchasing Sézane for years, and several of my most worn pieces are from them. The Tomboy shirt is a true go-to and one of my most worn pieces. When it comes to knits, the Gaspard and Barry styles are staples for me. They’re wool, so they can feel a little itchy at first, but that softness improves with wear and washing. I’ve had mine for over two years now and don’t notice it anymore. I love how versatile they are, styled buttoned in the back for a chic look, draped over a trench, or worn casually with denim. Another standout is the Betty cardigan. Now living in Southern California, it’s the perfect throw-on instead of a jacket. Because it’s merino wool, it keeps you warm without feeling heavy.
I’ve found that investing in quality knits really pays off long term. I’ve owned these pieces for years and the quality has held up beautifully. I always wash them on cold and never put them in the dryer.
Sizing note: The Gaspard and Barry knits run a bit big. I wear a size S in those styles, even though I’m typically a M at Sézane. For the Betty cardigan, I stick with my usual size M.
About the brand
Founded in 2016 by model and creative director Jeanne Damas, Rouje embodies modern Parisian romance. Inspired by the women she grew up watching in the Bastille neighborhood and her mother’s timeless style, the brand is built around feminine, vintage-inspired pieces designed to let the woman shine first. Rouje is best known for its iconic wrap dresses, softly structured blouses, and effortless denim, and has since expanded into accessories and beauty with the same unmistakable French-girl charm.
My notes
I’ve always loved Rouje for its vintage-inspired, romantic style. Last year, when they partnered with J.Crew, I was so excited to see the brand branching out in the United States that I immediately went to try pieces on at my closest store. I shared more about the collaboration and my try-on, which you can read here.
A more recent favorite is their beauty line, Les Filles en Rouje. I picked up the lip balm and it’s quickly become a go-to for an effortless, naturally flushed look. I love that Anthropologie now carries some of the line and I’ll definitely be adding more to my collection. I also love the Gabin dress and hope to finally add one to my wardrobe soon, maybe on my next visit to Paris this spring!
About the brand
Founded in 2017 by Margaux Minguez-Lahana, Maison Stella & Suzie is a French brand rooted in a personal love story and a passion for everyday elegance. What began as a curated concept store evolved into a full label with in-house designs launching in 2019. Today, the brand is loved for its romantic yet wearable pieces, from delicate blouses and softly structured jackets to flowing skirts and elevated essentials. Collections are released monthly in limited quantities and always feel intentional, feminine, and thoughtfully designed. The name itself is a tribute to two creative inspirations, Stella, Margaux’s grandmother, and Suzie, her husband’s first guitar.
My notes
This is one of my personal favorite French brands and one I’ve partnered with, which allowed me to learn more about the brand and the founders in a deeper way. Some of my most worn pieces are from Maison Stella & Suzie. I constantly reach for their denim shirt and brown knit dress, both have become true staples in my wardrobe. The pieces feel romantic yet easy to wear, polished without feeling overdone, and perfect for day-to-night dressing.
Sizing note: For the most part, the brand runs true to size. Some pieces are designed with an intentionally oversized fit and can run large. If you prefer a more fitted look, I’d recommend sizing down one in those styles. I personally love the oversized feel and usually stick with my usual size M.
La Petite Étoile is a Parisian brand built around the idea that clothing should make the person wearing it shine. Designed in Paris, the brand places equal importance on aesthetics and ethics, with a strong focus on traceability, craftsmanship, and responsibly sourced natural materials. Their collections are made using fabrics such as GOTS-certified organic cotton, linen, viscose, mohair, wool, and cashmere, and are produced in carefully selected workshops. The result is a thoughtful, feminine wardrobe that feels both modern and accessible.
My notes
I actually stumbled into La Petite Étoile during a trip to Paris last year and instantly fell in love. The pieces are feminine, easy to wear, and at a great price point, everything feels thoughtfully made without trying too hard. I picked up a denim shacket that I still get so many compliments on, along with a light white embroidered blouse that I wear constantly!
For my U.S.-based readers, a quick note, La Petite Étoile doesn’t ship to the United States yet and currently only ships within the EU. That said, it’s a must-visit when you’re in Paris. I have their boutique pinned in my Paris shopping map, so be sure to add it to your list if you’re planning a trip.
Sizing note: Sizing is listed as T1, T2, and T3. The pieces I own are in size T1.
About the brand
Founded in 1984 by Evelyne Chetrite and her husband, Didier Chetrite, Sandro began with a first boutique in Paris’ Marais district. Evelyne’s vision was shaped by her childhood in Morocco and later refined in Paris into the brand’s signature masculine-feminine aesthetic. Today, Sandro is an international house known for sharp tailoring, modern dresses, and a polished urban edge. Evelyne continues to direct the women’s collections, while their son Ilan Chetrite leads Sandro Homme, keeping the brand’s family spirit at its core.
My notes
Sandro is a brand I’ve truly invested in over the years. I own two dresses that I purchased in Paris over two years ago and still wear regularly. One is a blue knit dress that I absolutely adore and receive compliments on every time I wear it. Each season, Sandro releases this style in new colors and I’m always tempted to add another. I also own their classic black pleated dress, which has become a go-to for so many occasions. I’ve worn it to business meetings as well as more formal events and it always feels polished, professional, and elevated.
Sizing note: I went with my usual size, 38, for both dresses.
About the brand
Founded in Paris in 1964 by Marcel and Josette Nakam, Jonak began as a family-run boutique rooted in Parisian craftsmanship. Over the decades, the brand has grown into an international label while staying true to its original philosophy: well-made, stylish shoes at fair prices. Today, the next generation continues to evolve Jonak with a strong digital presence and global reach, without losing its artisanal roots.
My notes
I own Jonak’s black round-toe loafers, which I bought in Paris over two years ago, and they’ve become one of my true go-to pairs. I picked them up after a few days of wearing heels when my feet were completely destroyed and I needed something comfortable but still elevated enough to walk around the city. I was honestly amazed by how soft and comfortable they are, truly like slippers.
I’ve worn them constantly since and they’ve held up beautifully. They’re versatile, easy to style, and a real staple in my closet. I haven’t tried many of their other styles yet, but I plan to explore more in person on my next trip to Paris.
Sizing note: From what I’ve personally tried, the fit has been true to size. I wear a 37.
About the brand
Founded in Paris in 2019, Agapée draws inspiration from ancient civilizations and the Mediterranean, its warm light, timeless artistry, and symbolic beauty. Each piece feels like a modern heirloom, blending historical references with contemporary design. At the heart of the brand is a strong commitment to sustainability. All jewelry is designed in Paris and crafted from recycled, ethically sourced gold, using traditional techniques reinterpreted through modern savoir-faire. Even the packaging reflects this care, made from natural and recycled materials and delivered carbon neutrally through their “1% for Good” initiative.
My notes
I’ve been wearing Agapée for quite some time, and a few of their pieces have become part of my everyday routine. About a year ago, I was kindly gifted their rose ring and rose stud earrings, and I’ve worn them almost nonstop since. You may have noticed the ring in many of my posts, it’s truly one of those pieces I never take off.
What I love most is how well the jewelry holds up. I’ve worn these pieces to the beach, into the ocean, and in the shower, and they’ve remained in beautiful condition. They feel meaningful while still easy to wear every day. I shared a deeper look into their story, craftsmanship, and the significance of the rose ring in a previous article. I’ll definitely be adding more pieces to my collection soon, the only challenge is deciding which ones, because I truly love them all!

I’ve linked what’s currently available where possible. A few pieces mentioned are from older collections, but I’ve included similar options to help you explore, along with a few additional items from my wardrobe featured in the reel!
