2025 Recap: A Moment to Reflect and Look Ahead

As this year comes to a close, I’ve been taking time to reflect on everything we’ve explored together, and I couldn’t let it pass without sharing a few words!

This year with Maéva has been one of discovery. We explored new styles, revisited timeless silhouettes, and leaned into dressing with intention rather than urgency, with a focus on French and European-inspired clothing, accessories, and handbags. From Parisian-inspired everyday looks and café moments to Riviera summer capsules, Provence packing guides, early autumn layers, rich browns, and winter moments touched with rouge, each edit was created to inspire real-life moments, not just outfits!

What made this year especially meaningful was how much we grew together as a community! Through your messages, comments, saves, and shared enthusiasm, Maéva became more than a place for style inspiration. It became a space for conversation, curiosity, and connection around the way we dress and how it makes us feel. Seeing which pieces resonated, which guides you returned to, and which colors and silhouettes felt most “you” helped shape everything that was created!

Most of all, thank you for being here! Your support, engagement, and trust have made this journey incredibly rewarding, and I’m so grateful to be building Maéva alongside you. This space continues to evolve because of you, and I’m excited to carry everything we’ve learned into the year ahead with fresh inspiration and intention!

A Few Pieces That Defined the Year

I wanted to share a small selection of pieces that stood out the most this year, the ones you saved, revisited, and connected with along the way. These favorites reflect what resonated most within the Maéva community throughout the year!

Some pieces may be sold out or no longer available, but I’ve included similar options where possible.

Memorable Moments From the 2025

One of the most meaningful parts of this year was seeing how much you loved discovering new brands and stories alongside me. From learning more about French craftsmanship to exploring the people behind the designs, those moments of discovery became a defining part of the Maéva journey.

That curiosity led to several standout moments throughout the year, including the opportunity to interview Chloé De Barros and dive deeper into her creative process and approach to timeless design. Conversations like these added a richer layer to the way we explored style, connecting beautiful pieces to the stories and intentions behind them.

Collaborating with French brands such as Maison Stella & Suzie and Agapée was another highlight of the year! These partnerships felt especially special, rooted in thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and pieces meant to be worn, lived in, and loved well beyond a single season! Alongside that, working with U.S. brands like Velvet Heart, Quince, and Freja felt equally special, brands that bring their own sense of ease and that subtle je ne sais quoi, all while aligning beautifully with Maéva’s vision of timeless, wearable style, and many more along the way!

Together, these moments helped shape a year that felt less about trends and more about meaningful discovery, the kind that stays with you and continues to inspire the way you dress!

Inspired by You

Another highlight of the year was seeing how Maéva became a source of inspiration in your own wardrobes! Watching you interpret the looks, save edits for later, and use the styling ideas as a starting point for your everyday outfits was incredibly rewarding!

Through Le Mini Mag, I loved highlighting some of those moments, revisiting looks that resonated most and sharing how they translated beyond the original edit. Seeing Maéva live on through your styling choices, your saved favorites, and the pieces you returned to throughout the year made the experience feel truly shared.

It was a gentle reminder that style doesn’t exist in isolation. It grows through inspiration, interpretation, and the way each of us makes it our own!

Styling Takeaways to Carry Into the New Year

As we look ahead, here are a few styling principles that shaped so many of this year’s looks and will continue to guide an intentional approach to getting dressed:

  • Build around elevated basics: The most worn outfits often start with simple foundations, denim, knits, tailored trousers, and classic tops, elevated through thoughtful layering and proportions. And of course, a well-cut trench coat adds that effortless je ne sais quoi that pulls everything together.

  • Let structure do the work: A well-cut jacket, blazer, or coat instantly elevates even the simplest outfit, adding polish without overthinking.

  • Choose a soft, cohesive color story: Neutrals don’t have to feel flat. Mixing warm browns, soft blues, creams, and subtle pops of color creates depth while remaining timeless and easy to wear.

  • Think in outfits, not individual pieces: When styling or shopping, consider how each piece works with what you already own. This mindset makes getting dressed simpler and far more intentional.

  • Prioritize versatility: Pieces that move effortlessly from day to evening, weekday to weekend often become the most worn and most loved over time.

Final Thoughts

As this chapter comes to a close, I’m incredibly grateful for everything we shared throughout the year. From moments of discovery and creativity to thoughtful conversations around style, intention, and everyday dressing, this year with Maéva felt deeply meaningful! Thank you for being here, for following along, and for engaging so thoughtfully. Your support, curiosity, and trust continue to shape this space and make it what it is!

I’ll be taking a short pause to reset, reflect, and prepare for the year ahead, spending the holidays with friends and family before returning with fresh inspiration and new stories to share!

Wishing you a beautiful holiday season filled with warmth, joy, and meaningful moments, and a very happy New Year!

With Amour,

Manon - Founder of Maéva
